Across the country rental cars are in high demand and supply is low. Lines at the Rent-A-Car Center and for shuttles to and from the airport will be longer during peak periods. Customers should be prepared for extended wait times.

Facility Details

The Rent-A-Car Center is only three miles away from the airport on Gillespie Street with simple freeway access to interstates 15 and 215, as well as being close to the Las Vegas Strip.

The Rent-A-Car Center, which opened in April 2007 and houses 10 automobile rental businesses in one location, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and provides continuous shuttle service to airport terminals.

  • Travelers with Disabilities: Our shuttle buses are all ADA equipped and have designated loading areas at Terminal 1, Terminal 3, and the Rent-A-Car Center for those who may require special assistance.
  • Parking: The first floor offers a 24-hour entrance, with the parking lot accessible from York Street. The main building itself is completely wheelchair accessible. There is short-term street parking on either side of the hotel and in front of it for $2 per hour, with a one-hour minimum and three-hour maximum. Payments may be made at any self-service machine.
  • Long Term Parking: Contact the Parking Office at 702.261.5122.
  • Lost & Found: For items lost in public areas, including the lobby and curbs, call 702.261.6001. For items lost in shuttle buses, call 702.261.6630. And for items left in rental cars or the garage, contact the rental car agency.

Arriving Customers

The airport offers complimentary shuttle transportation to the Blue and White Rent-A-Car Center for customers who arrive at least 45 minutes prior to their scheduled flight. The center is three miles away, with a one-way journey time of approximately 20 minutes in heavy traffic.

Terminal 1 Shuttle Pickup

Follow directions to Ground Transportation on Level 1 from the baggage claim area. Rental Car Shuttle buses leave from outside doors 10 and 11.

Terminal 3 Shuttle Pickup

To find your rental car from the airport, follow signs for Ground Transportation to Baggage Claim on Level Zero. Go outside to Rental Car Shuttle stops located near doors 51-54 on the west end or by doors 55-58 on the east side of the building.

Departing Customers

Rental Car Return

Arrive at the Rent-A-Car Center by following the road signs to Gilespie Street, which runs parallel to Boylston Street. Continue along the overhead signage to the appropriate car rental company. Proceed through the lobby and out of the main entrance for ground transportation after returning your automobile.

Terminal 1 and 3 Departures: Make sure you know which airport terminal your airline uses, then board the right shuttle to either Terminal 1 or 3. The shuttles leave from the Rent-A-Car Center every 15 minutes or so. To avoid any stressful situations, give yourself plenty of time as travel times can waver depending on traffic and how many people are using the service.

Taxis: Proceed to the taxi staging area, located in the front of the building.

Ride Share (Lyft and Uber): Follow posted signs to the Ride App Pickup area.
